Through a consortium formed by 10 entities, MEDWAY will develop a strategy to recover the rail wagon manufacturing industry in Portugal. This project, which has already moved on to the negotiation phase of the mobilizing agendas of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), aims to restore productive capacity to the country, with the creation of intelligent wagons, which will enhance the productive capacity of wagons with sensors, as well as the implementation of predictive maintenance methodologies, reducing waste and increasing availability. |
