MEDWAY present at the 1st edition of the Congreso de la AET

MEDWAY was present at the 1st edition of the "Congreso de la AET", with Miguel Fañanás, Head of Iberian Business Development. This congress aimed to address the MITMA 30 Goods Strategy, in terms of intermodal transport and rail roads, and whether these measures, some of which are underway, will have an effect on increasing rail market share in 3-4 years; the role companies are playing in this respect was also among the topics.

From this first edition of the Congress, it is concluded that:
- The 30 Goods Strategy, and the support of the Government of Spain, through MITMA, and the European Next Generation funds, are key to improving infrastructure;
- We must follow a roadmap of collaboration with all parties involved in the railway chain, give visibility to rail transport, orient ourselves towards service, quality and environmental sustainability;
- To achieve, together with Road, that rail transport is not seen as a competitor, but rather as a collaborator.

We hope that there will be more meetings with professionals from the railway sector, which will be very useful for our daily work. We would like to thank AET for the invitation to take part in this first congress.
