SAP Roles & Authorizations Specialist
The SAP Authorizations Specialist will work as part of SAP Department’s Center of Excellence (CoE) team at Lisbon, Portugal and will be responsible for the analysis, configuration, migration, projects, and support of SAP solutions to meet the business requirements of MSC and its agencies worldwide, with focus in the Security and confidentiality solutions and authorization following best practice guidelines in the SAP landscapes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyse and configure SAP roles and authorizations to ensure compliance with business requirements and security policies;
- Manage and support the migration of SAP roles and authorizations during system upgrades and implementations;
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SAP solutions;
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training and support to SAP business users;
- Ensuring efficient and timely approval of access throughout the SAP landscape on all application modules are functional and secure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP roles and authorizations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations;
- Maintain detailed documentation of configuration, functional specifications, training and any other project related tasks during the implementation;
- Monitoring and resolve tickets/ change requests of SAP roles and authorizations including the creation of and maintain Firefighter accounts, system users with specific profiles and the ability to manage Production related urgencies of authorization issues;
- Work closely with the Internal and External Auditors, Business owners and users at all levels. Identify process improvements and confirm audit compliance;
- Design and maintain the SoD (Segregation of Duties) Matrix with controls to mitigate risks and implementation of user access reviews;
- Evaluate business risks associated with authorisation and security design, implement appropriate controls to address those risks and provide recommendations on ways to simplify and streamline the security design.
Experience, Competencies and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of SAP S/4 Rise with a focus on roles and authorizations;
- Strong understanding of SAP security concepts ann best pratices;
- Experience with SAP configuration, master data management, and end-to-end integration testing;
- Team player, with excellent inter-personal skills to work in a multi-cultural environment both independently and with various teams and to enrich knowledge sharing;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail, and be client focused to understand and appropriately respond to their business needs;
- University degree in a relevant field, preferably in Engineering or Industrial Management;
- Fluency in English. Portuguese and Italian as added advantage;
- Self- motivated to learn with high problem- solving skills to explore new challenges.
