In 2023 we were successfully reassessed again in the SQAS system - Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability, by the qualified assessor CEFIC - European Chemical Industry Council. MEDWAY obtained a rating of 98% in the Rail Carrier module, 96% in the Transport Service module and 94% in the Warehouse module. The vast majority of these results are above the European average. SQAS is an assessment system applicable to companies in the chemical and petrochemical sector, which allows the evaluation of the health and safety, plant safety, quality and environmental performance of logistics service providers and distributors. This aid reinforces Medway's commitment to sustainability, reducing emissions and developing rail logistics in line with the European Union's climate and ecological transition objectives and the Spanish Government's Mercancías 30 Strategy.
