This is a sad day for the railway. The Railway Family is in mourning!We regret the serious accident that occurred on Friday, on the Northern Line, and which resulted in two fatalities, Infrastructure workers in Portugal, and dozens of wounded, including the CP driver. We offer the most heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and we share our solidarity with the railway family, which, despite facing this tragic moment, continues to provide a great service to Portugal on a daily basis. MEDWAY will continue, as it has always done so far, to support, develop and implement all measures that make the railway as an even safer form of transport. |
