MEDWAY inaugurated this month the MEDWAY Sines Terminal in the Sines Industrial and Logistics Area (ZILS), Zone 2. The Terminal has a total area of 33 thousand m2 and capacity for about 2 thousand TEUs.Sines is a region of extreme relevance for MEDWAY's operation in Portugal, which has been reinforcing the presence, investment and provision of services in this Terminal, this launch being the achievement of another stage of the strategy. We hope to continue growing in this location, increasing our competitiveness and efficiency and moving towards being the main integrated merchandise operator in the Iberian Peninsula. The logistics platform has handling equipment, container parking, cargo consolidation and deconsolidation, and moorings, among other services. Liners, flexitanks and thermal blankets are also installed here, which can be made anywhere in the country. This Terminal has a team of more than 40 employees, who perform logistics services daily. |
