Goods consolidation

Consolidation of goods consists of allocating small goods to form a single, larger volume, streamlining storage and transportation. A simple example of consolidation is when several suppliers send loads sharing the same storage space, either a container or a warehouse. Depending on the type of products, it is not always possible to consolidate loads; for example, medicines cannot be consolidated together with chemical products. For consolidation, the goods must be packaged and conditioned correctly, thus enabling consolidation in stacking (when possible).
