Bogie

The bogie is a wagon located under a railway vehicle, on which the axles and wheels are fixed . It is movable in relation to the vehicle chassis (locomotive or wagon) and is intended to guide the train through curves in the railway track. The bogie is an essential element of the wagon or coach which consists of two or three axles, a damping system and a set of wheels through which the connection to the rail is made.
