MEDWAY, OPERADOR FERROVIARIO DE MERCANCÍAS, S.A., Spanish Branch, has submitted a grant application under the first call for proposals of the Programme for the Support of Sustainable and Digital Transport (PATSYD), through a competitive process, as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan — funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, managed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MITMS) from the Spanish Government, for the project (each of those listed below), with a planned investment of (as indicated below).
By ministerial resolution of 13 December 2022, which settles this first call for applications, a grant of (see footnote) is awarded.
On 31 March 2026, MEDWAY, OPERADOR FERROVIARIO DE MERCANCÍAS, S.A., Spanish Branch, submitted the documentation relating to the completion of the aforementioned project (project completion) and applied for a final grant of (see footnote).

Project: Procurement of freight wagons for the Iberian Peninsula:
Planned investment: 62.350.000,00€ / Grant awarded: 23.590.556,85€ / Final grant: 10.748.054,09€.
