We are MEDWAY, a logistics group that is part of the largest railway operator in the Iberian Peninsula, part of the MSC Group, a multinational company with high international recognition in the transport and logistics sector, and we are looking to strengthen the Finance Department:
Contributing to continuous improvement and increased profitability, ensuring efficient control and a critical vision that enables the company to achieve sustainable growth.
Analysing and controlling the results obtained and budget execution;
Analysing the correlation between financial and operational indicators;
Analysing profitability by service;
Ensuring the implementation of internal controls;
Supporting the preparation of the annual budget;
Preparing/participating in the company's various reports and surveys;
Ensuring analytical structures to support the company's management accounting (or analytical) that enable costing models to be developed/maintained.
We are looking for:
A degree in Management, Economics or Finance;
Relevant professional experience in management control or auditing/consultancy (preferably Big 4);
Previous professional experience in a similar role of at least 3 years;
Advanced knowledge of SAP software (preferred)
Knowledge of internal control, management control and accounting;
Solid financial knowledge;
Excellent knowledge and proficiency in MS-Office, particularly MS-Excel;
Fluency in English
Proactive, dynamic personality with personal initiative;
Critical, entrepreneurial spirit and excellent analytical skills;
Ability to adapt, be flexible and solve problems;
High sense of responsibility and autonomy;
Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
Strong planning and organisational skills;
Interested and curious.
