Accounting Assistant - (m/f)

We are MEDWAY, a company in the logistics sector, an integral part of the MSC Group, a multinational company with high international recognition in the transport and logistics sector, and we seek to strengthen the Financial Department, based in Lisbon, for the Accounting area, with the hiring of:

Accounting Assistant - (m/f)

Location: Lisbon

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of FD's;
• Ensure control of suppliers' current accounts through recurring reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliation on a monthly basis;
• Carry out the control and reconciliation of financing.
• Ensure documentary support for all entries made;
• Guarantee the entire accounting file;
• Ensure proper documentation of the tax dossier;
• Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting;
• Ensure compliance with tax rules and laws.

Required profile:

• Academic qualifications and professional experience:
• Academic qualifications at the level of the Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred), Management, Economics, Finance, etc.;
• Experience between 1 and 3 years in similar functions.
   

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of Accounting;
• Knowledge of periodic tax obligations;
• Good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI (preferential factor);
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
